Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP) The Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP) synchronises ABS plus, the Electronic Differential Lock (EDL) and Traction Control System (TCS) for improved behavior when understeering or oversteering. |

Anti-locking Brake System (ABS) The completely new Anti-locking Brake System (ABS) improves steerability when full braking is applied on the road. If loose surfaces are registered, wheel lock is controlled. |

Warning and tone lamp Warning and tone lamp indicate if the front seat belts are not fastened. |

Electronic Brake Pressure Distribution (EBD) Electronic Brake Pressure Distribution (EBD) prevents wheel lock on he rear wheels when the weight of the vehicle shifts towards the front wheels during braking. |

Brake Assist System The brake assist system with dual-rate function recognizes the speed with which the brake pedal is operated. During emergency braking or when braking as a reflex action, the system builds up full brake pressure more quickly. |
